Southern Louisiana Behavior Consultants, LLC was founded in 2020 with the mission to help individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disabilities reach their full potential. Southern Louisiana Behavior Consultants, LLC and our team want to help your family through your ASD journey. We pride ourselves on our development and implementation of individualized treatment plans that cater to our clients specific needs, facilitating parent trainings to help parents with implementation and understanding of ABA techniques that help their child, and support from our team with caregiver collaborations. Together we can achieve great things!
Center Based Services
Center-based services provide a more structured learning environment to train parents and caregivers. Furthermore, the quality and quantity of therapy and supervision by board certified behavior analysts (BCBA)is greatly improved with center-based services.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) hold a minimum of a Master's Degree with approved coursework, 1,500 hours of supervised independent fieldwork, and have passed a comprehensive board certification exam.
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) are certified to provide direct services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). BCaBA's are professionals with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, have 30 hours of graduate-level studies in applied behavior analysis, 1,000 hours of supervised independent fieldwork, and have passed a comprehensive board certification exam. RBT's are required to complete an intensive 40-hour training program covering the foundations of applied behavior analysis, competency checks with a certified behavior analyst, and pass a board certified exam.
